Chapel Dome, USNA
The dome of the Chapel at the United States Naval Academy. The Chapel Dome is 192 feet high and has been used as a visual navigation aid when entering Annapolis by sea. There is a tradition at the Naval Academy that a sophomore only becomes a true youngster (USNA slang for a 3rd Class Midshipman, or sophomore) after seeing the chapel dome upon returning from youngster cruise.
