Photographic Happenstance
Expressing the arbritary nature of life through incidental images of people, places, and things…

Bancoft Hall at the United States Naval Academy, also referred to as Mother B. Bancroft Hall is the dormitory building housing the entire Bridage of Midshipmen, and I think it's still the largest dormitory building in the United States. The building has nearly 5 miles of corridors - imagine reporting there on I-Day (the official start of plebe summer) trying to find your room as the plebe summer cadre of upperclassmen are yelling and screaming at you on a stifling, hot and humid day.. and to think that they only use HALF of Bancroft Hall for plebe summer. Half of the plebe summer regiment will move to their new locations on the other side of Mother B when the academic year (ac year) starts.
