I took this on my walk to Starbucks in Rosslyn. "Hammer Time" stenciled in the sidewalk. Is this a secret message? I tried to contemplate the meaning of this for a good five minutes, just staring at the writing on the sidewalk, wondering "what exactly does this mean?". Somebody was probably just bored and figured that an idiot like me would probably sit around for five minutes contemplating why they painted those words on the sidewalk. Maybe the person who painted the words on the sidewalk had the original intention of painting inspirational words for everyone to read on their way to Starbucks, but when the moment arrived, the only thing they could think of was "Hammer Time". Then again, does it really matter?
