This is what I deal with every night, at the Pennsylvania Avenue off ramp on 395 (SE-SW Freeway). Studies relating particle flow to traffic dynamics have proven that deviant particles (or selfish bastards, like our pictured buddy gold Camry and his not pictured cohorts, blue Caravan, white Land Cruiser and silver Montero) that interrupt uniform particle flow, will cause "traffic waves", more commonly known as congestion. Cutting into a stream of civil, law abiding drivers, like gold Camry did, is not only inconsiderate and outright selfish, but is also AGAINST THE LAW. Remember what a SOLID WHITE LINE means, idiot??? I mean, it's not only a solid white line, it's a BIG SOLID WHITE LINE... sheesh. Of course, moments after I took the picture (to demonstrate a point, of course), one of DC's finest drove past gold Camry and did absolutely NOTHING. By ignoring gold Camry (and all the other bastards who followed), we essentially endorse the deviant particle's behavior, perpetuating the traffic congestion. Want a cheap way to improve traffic? Enforce the law... SOLID lines mean no passing or cutting in, bastard.
