Here's a picture of a soon to be razed building in the vicinity of 4th Street and H Street NW (not entirely sure). The lower level windows were completely blocked off with a metal "security" covering. The upper level windows were not covered and most of them were broken and looked as if people had entered through the windows based on the amount of garbage that was strewn about the platforms of the fire escape ladders on the outside of the building. The building right next to this one had already been knocked down and the rubble strewn "courtyard" was being used by some homeless people as their home.
