Every photographer (at least the ones I know) has a silly self portrait shot in a mirror like this. Is it vanity? Considering you can't really determine who the hell is behind the camera, maybe not. Then again, who knows. I guess it's the best way to be vain, knowing that I'm not photogenic, so it's the best way to capture a self portrait without having to actually show my face, after all, the camera is MUCH better looking than me. Doing the mirror shot was fun, though, and it provided an outlet to test the ever impressive D200 as soon as I could get the battery charged - and I was able to see the results instantly (well, I had to download the image first, but you get the point). Wow, the wonders of digital imaging.
