Photographic Happenstance
Expressing the arbritary nature of life through incidental images of people, places, and things…

Here's a picture of 14th Street NW, near Pennsylvania Avenue, looking towards the Dept. of Commerce and the National Aquarium. I haven't been to the National Aquarium, but it doesn't get rave reviews - apparently nothing compared to the aquarium in Baltimore. One block to the west is The Ellipse in front of the White House and a block east takes you to the other side of the Reagan building. The Willard hotel is to the north, and to the south is Constitution Avenue. 14th Street is one of the main thouroughfares from Northern Virginia into Washington DC and can be a nightmare during rush hour (inbound in the morning, outbound in the evening) - cross at your own risk!
