Here's a picture of my oldest son playing soccer on a cool, damp Saturday morning. Amazing how intense the kids can be at 9am on Saturday. I had the easy part - snapping away with a monopod (what, you expect me to HOLD the camera without support???) on the sidelines and all that WITHOUT coffee, even. The team finished the season undefeated, much to the delight of my son, and the kids all seemed to play very well together. I've always enjoyed sports photography, although I'm not quite "there" yet with respects to getting the primo action shots. Still have a lot of work to do in that realm, but I'll admit that it's loads of fun. I suppose that's why I always see those photographers at professional sporting events smiling all the time.
