
Here's a picture of the National Museum of the American Indian from the outside, on the Capitol side of the museum. The building presents an interesting visual form, reminiscient of the Anasazi indian dwellings carved into the side of cliffs in the canyons of the Southwest. The one thing the building did seem to lack was straight lines - This is an interesting column in the Washington Post that provides some insights into some opinions about the museum and its architecture.
