...is not here. This is a picture of a fountain inside the U. S. Botanical Gardens, right outside the orchid display. Perhaps this was the Fountain of Youth that Juan Ponce de Leon was looking for? The legend of the Fountain of Youth has always been associated with Ponce de Leon, but some historians doubt that he was looking for the fountain at all. Instead, just like all the "explorers", he probably looking for gold, slaves, and other "riches".
