Here's a shot of the Capitol building, taken from outside the Botanical Gardens on a recent photo expedition into the city. I suppose that the building is probably one of the most photographed buildings in DC and it's easy to see why - it's pretty impressive, especially the closer and closer you get to it. I raised the camera a little and didn't capture the people waiting in line for what appeared to be the tour of the Capitol building.
