Just a picture of a tree trunk I saw while we were walking along the path at the Tidal Basin on the way to the FDR Memorial. I thought the textures and colors were interesting and took the shot. It sort of reminded me of peaks and valleys in a rough, desolate landscape. Absolutely no references to that Beatles song off their Rubber Soul album other than the reference to wood, albeit certainly not Norwegian.
