Photographic Happenstance
Expressing the arbritary nature of life through incidental images of people, places, and things…

Ah, the heart of downtown DC. This is G Street NW, looking towards 13th Street NW and the Metrorail Metro Center station. The PMI garage is a self-park garage, serving the occupants of the building above it, the guests staying at the
Hotel Harrington (which is where Ollie's Trolley is located), and the lucky few who get in before they reach capacity, which is usually around 10 am. Right next to the parking garage is a pizza and Mexican food joint (Pizza Pino and Cafe Cantina). The food there is decent, the quantities are huge, and the price is right. Across the street from the parking garage is Reeve's Bakery, which has excellent cookies, a strawberry pie and strawberry short cake to die for, and a killer breakfast menu according to friends of mine (I've never had breakfast there, although the donuts are soooo good....).
